The feeding principle of the TURBOMAX feeder supports the pigs’ natural need for activity, as the pigs must activate the feeder themselves to have feed dispensed. This helps ensure good hygiene, as the trough is not constantly filled and does not dispense more feed than the pigs can eat.

The feed hopper of the TURBOMAX is designed with almost vertical sides to prevent feed bridging.

The trough is designed with double drinking bowls, allowing the pigs to choose between water or dry feed. By enabling pigs to drink and eat in the same place, stress within the group is reduced. The effect is seen in excellent daily weight gain. Read more >>
